Say hello to Rocky!
Rocky is 6 years old and was an owner surrender along with his brother and sister (not litter siblings just house siblings) because his mommy had to move into a place that would not allow her to have all of them.

Out of the 3 that came into rescue, Rocky is "Mr. Personality" of the group. He is a little shy at first but quickly warms up and from there on out is very friendly. He loves people, does great with dogs his size and his momma had said he is submissive to large breed dogs. His previous family had 10 grandchildren and they all did great with the kids-but the kids were taught how to respect a dogs boundaries so the above situations never became an issue.

He doesn't like to be kissed...unless he kisses you first, then it's ok. He also does not like to be hugged and really dislikes when you put your face in his face (ok if he does it to you though) but loves to be pet. He is doggie door trained so if you are not going to use a doggie door, take him to the door and remind him to go outside often in the beginning just to remind him to go outside. He is not a fan of playing with toys but does love his bones (no rawhides or cooked meat bones) He loves to lay on the cool tile when he is warm.


He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
