Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Layla is a 9 year young purebred Australian shepherd. She is spayed and up to date on all shots and immunizations. Like many herding breeds, Layla is not good with young children. She also is not fond of other dogs or cats. She is absolutely fantastic with older children and every adult she meets. She is both house and crate trained. Her humans are expecting a child and as she tends to herd the little one’s they need to find her a new home to be safe. They also have a small home and yard which is not ideal for a high energy inquisitive Aussie.
Layla is having ACL surgery, that will be taken care of before she is adopted out. Her records of course will be given to her new family.
.
Layla really is a special girl that wants and need to be the only dog. If you are a family with older children and no other pets and a big back yard, this could be your dream dog. She is located in Sterling Virginia
There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
