Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Mack (formerly Squirrel). I am a 5 year old brindle pit bull, and was picked up by animal control as a stray, but I respond to a lot of commands and house broken (mostly). I was terrified in the shelter, but blossomed everyday with my foster mama. I learned that I love stairs, love my doggie bed and most of all just to be wherever people are in the house...I am Mr. Relaxed in the house.
For my furever home I hope to have a fenced in yard. I am cautious of new things as you can imagine. On walks, I’m nice and slow with no pulling on the leash, unless I see another dog I want to play with or go investigate, then I pull and bark. Training will help with this trigger. But when at home, right before bed I get the zoomies for a few minutes, which includes jumping, but it’s amazing to see my carefree personality come out.
Mack is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. If you’re interested in meeting Mack, please fill out an application at animalheartline.org
