Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chance is an energetic one-year old, labrador/doberman mix. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and in great health. He is a very sweet boy who is looking for a forever family that has experience raising an energetic young dog.
Chance is good with kids, ages 5+ would be best because of his puppy energy. He gets along with the other dogs at his foster home. Cats are unknown.
This pup loves to run and play and would do best with a large fenced yard. Chance really enjoys his chew toys, car rides, fetch, and going for walks. He is learning how to walk nicely on leash. He knows sit, shake, come, kisses, and stay. He eats up attention and physical touch.
Chance is extremely smart and does well with structure, routine, and boundaries. He is learning manners at his foster home – at first meetings he may jump and possibly be mouthy, but stops immediately to a firm NO. Chance responds best to slow introductions to new people and dogs, and has been learning how to approach without getting overly excited. He is not a barker, but will definitely alert you with a bark when someone comes to the door.
Chance has a ton of potential and will be a great dog for an active family where he will be included in outings.
If you are interested in adding Chance to your family and committed to continued training to tap into his potential, Chance is waiting for you.
The process starts with a completed adoption application. The form can be found on our website www.seconndchancedogs.net
Chance’s adoption donation is $250, with a portion of that amount being tax deductible. All proceeds go to dog care.
