Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Koa is a very sweet young Australian Shepherd mix girl. She is around 11 months old and is such a special pup. Koa came to us from a local kill shelter. She was a little shy, but has come out of her shell so much since being here. She now trusts much easier and is a happy go lucky puppy. She is still a little unsure around loud city noises, but does well otherwise! Koa loves being rubbed and loved on and just wants to be with her people. She walks well on leash, knows her "sit" command, and has done well in the car. She corrects easily and is eager to please. She has medium energy and will need some daily exercise. A fenced backyard to play in would be good for her! She has done well with other dogs at kennel gates, but a meet and greet would be needed to determine her suitability with an existing dog. Koa has so much potential and we hope to find her a home that is willing to continue to work with her on her training. She has been updated on all of her vetting and is now up to date on vaccines, is spayed, microchipped, and is now ready to move onto her new home!
