Heidi is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so she is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.
Heidi came from a fast to kill, small town animal control facility. Heidi is a small scruffy terrier with probably some Yorkie in the mix. She is maybe around a 6 months old and weighs 8 pounds. Heidi is a typical feisty terrier. She is outgoing and playful and puts up with nothing from the big dogs. Heidi is house trained and crate trained. She appears to be good and well behaved in the house...meaning we have not caught her doing anything she shouldn't. Additional training may be needed. Heidi is very small and must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt her. She must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider her dinner. Heidi must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.
Heidi is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and current on heartworm and flea preventative. Heidi has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport to Warren NJ, Allentown PA, or Nanuet NY. She will not be sent north until after she is adopted.
