Brighton is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.

Brighton was found sitting in the middle of the street during a rainstorm. His family could not be found. He was very wet, dirty and matted. We had him groomed and he will need grooming on a regular basis. We think Brighton is a Bichon (no guarantees). He weighs 13 pounds and we estimate that he is around 1 year of age. Brighton is a very quiet, sweet and loving little dog that wants to be held and loved on. He is a little overwhelmed by all the dogs in this place. He is enamored with some of the female dogs, but that should subside now that he is neutered. Brighton is crate trained, but needs more work with house training. Additional training may be needed. Brighton is otherwise well-behaved in the house....meaning that he has not been caught doing anything he shouldn't. Brighton is small and must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt him. He must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider him dinner. Brighton must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.

Brighton is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and current on heartworm and flea preventative. Brighton has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport to Warren NJ, Allentown PA, or Nanuet NY. He will not be sent north until after he is adopted.
