My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nadia is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so she is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.

Nadia was found running down a deserted country road at 3 am. Fortunately someone saw her and was able to catch her. Nadia is a small, 11 pound, mixed breed dog with a longer body, really short legs, soft fur, and a curly tail. She appears to be between 1 and 2 years of age. Nadia is super sweet and very gentle and a little bit shy. She is very loving and gives lots of kisses. We really have no idea about her breed makeup. We are fairly certain there is no terrier in the mix. Nadia likes playing with other small dogs around her same size. She is okay with larger dogs as long as they don't step on her. Nadia is crate trained and will use a pee pad if she can't get outside. Nadia is well behaved in the house, and she could probably use a bit more training. Nadia is very small and must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt her. She must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider her dinner. Nadia must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.

Nadia is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and current on heartworm and flea preventative. Nadia has a $500.00 adoption fee which includes ground transport to Strasburg VA or Hagerstown MD. She will not be sent north until after she is adopted.
