Henri: 6 year old, black & tan, neutered male, natural ears and tail, 15" 17 lbs., shots up-to-date & micro-chipped. Rescued from shelter.
"Hi, I’m Henri! My humans moved and dumped me off at a small rural shelter. It was kind of scary there since my humans did not allow me inside and didn’t pay much attention to me so I didn’t know much about humans or other animals. There were lots of humans and animal at that shelter and I wasn’t sure how to act or if I was going to be OK. I was pretty skinny and covered in ticks. My IMPS foster mom got me out of that scary place, got me some really good tasting food, got me healthy and got all those horrible ticks off me."
"I’ve had quite a change from my previous lonely life! I’ve always wanted to be super friendly, part of a human family and now I’m a house dog now, and my foster mom includes me in everything. I ride nicely in the car, get along really well with my foster brothers and sisters, and love meeting new people. I really love getting scratched and loved on. My foster mom says I’m the sweetest and gentlest soul, who loves attention but is not demanding."
"My foster mom also says that I’m really hilarious and I have the goofiest belly crawl in front of her when I’m excited to see her. I talk to my self sometimes too, muttering under my breath. Not loud or obnoxious, but definitely funny. She says I’m a man on the go, and I don’t look or act like a 6-year-old."
"Since my foster mom takes me outside regularly to do my business, and I’ve also learned to use the doggie door, I have not had any accidents in the house. I’m loving life now, have lots of love to give and lots of years ahead of me but I’m needing a forever family of my own who will make me part of the family like my foster mom does and give me lots of love, care and attention. A forever family of my own would just make my new life perfect!"
