My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Professor Farnsworth wants to be a best friend to your cat or kitten at home. Or adopt him with a buddy from Harmony House! He just needs an adopter willing to take charge of his daily medication. Born in June 2018, he is a playful and fun boy who needs daily nose drops for a nasal congestion problem. The staff can fill you in on the full details about his condition and provide you with a 3 month supply of medication when he is adopted.

Every HHFC cat or kitten is spayed/neutered prior to adoption, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Visit Harmony House, Chicago's eco-friendly Platinum LEED shelter, and choose from all the cats and kittens in our relaxed, cageless atmosphere.

Adopters are scheduled on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday afternoon by appointment after an online adoption application has been reviewed and approved.

All members of the household must be present at the adoption appointment.

All Harmony House adopters must be 21 years or older, be able to spend the time and resources necessary to provide veterinary treatment and proper care for your cat, live in a house, condo, or apartment where cats are welcome, and have telephone or cellphone service.

The adopter must present
1) A government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license, state photo ID, or passport to verify your age
2) A copy of a current bill or statement to verify your current address. This can be a utility bill, credit card statement, or bank statement. If you pay your bills online, you may print a copy at home to show the adoption counselor or display the bill on your Smartphone.
