Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bella! I very sweet 1 year old dashie mix. She's approx 20 lbs. She loves attention and is an active dog. She loves to go on walks. She's learning to trust new people, as we don't think she was treated very well. She was a surrender to us, after discovering she had double cherry eyes and wasn't spayed. She's completely vetted now. She does need more work on her housebreaking, but with consistency and a stable environment, she'll pick it up. She learns quick, and has been going to school at Dogsmartz Unleashed. We would love her new family to continue on with her and another class. She has been great with the dogs we've introduced her too - but she is a player and can be a bit much for an older dog. She loves to chase a tennis ball. If you would like to meet this sweetheart - apply today!
Our adoption process starts with our application. Once the application is approved, a member of Legacy will contact you to set up a home visit. The home visit usually last 1-1 1/2 hours and is to make sure our dog and any current dogs/cats are getting along, as well as both of us agreeing it's a fit. At this time the adoption fee is due, and begins the 2 week trial. We will check in during the 2 week trial. If it's not working, our dog is returned to the foster home and all except $50.00 of the adoption fee is returned. At the end of the 2 week trial, you decide if you will finalize the adoption - if finalized, the Adoption Contract is signed and all medical records are turned over to you. If at any time you need to rehome the dog it contractually needs to be returned to Legacy Dog Rescue.
