Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mayor, 17 lbs, 6 years old male Shih Tzu. He is a laid back kind of guy. Likes to chill with his people. He loves attention and belly rubs. Wants to be right along side of you or down at your feet. He stays very close. He was surrendered by his family to a near by shelter; however, does show signs of abuse. Poor little guy. Startled or frighten, he can get "snippy" It is more instinct than anything from being mistreated & abused. He just needs to learn to trust again. He is doing wonderful in his foster home. Mayor will make a great pet for someone looking for a low maintenance kind of pet. He will require grooming( he does very well at the groomers), but otherwise pretty much hassle free. He is pretty smart, learned the routine of the house and how to use the doggie door in foster in a matters of days. He would probably do better with older children. Smaller children is not recommended He is housebroken, gets along with other dogs & cats. Does well in the car, jumps right in and sits back for the ride. Fully vetted, neutered and micro-chipped. This pet is being fostered in PICAYUNE, MS An application can be found on our website. (animaladoptionsociety.net) Adoption fee $150
