Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This purebred Llasa apso was brought to the shelter when his owner was hospitalized indefinitely. He is use to living in a home with his canine sibling and owner. Nugget seems to be very well taken care and posses pretty good doggy manners. Nugget is 10 years old, weighs 30lbs and tested well with other pups and feline friends. Nugget has your typical Lhasa personality, so needless to say he can be a bit stubborn at times, such as when he’s asked to go in a crate. Despite his age Nugget still likes taking his walks, and appears to be house trained. He plays with his current canine companion from time to time, but he thoroughly enjoys snoozing with them the most. We have never witnessed Nugget with larger pups, so we can’t say how he will be with larger friends. Nugget has almost complete vision loss in one eye, but still manages to get around without an issue. It takes him a few times to master new sets of stairs but once he’s familiar he doesn’t miss a beat. Nugget will have a dental prior to adoption as his teeth seem to have been neglected in the past. Due to his age we suggest he does not reside with small children. Nugget would make an ideal companion for a family looking for a low key pup.
