My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Note: Auggie is a sweet dog and loves everyone he meets. However, he needs to be AN ONLY DOG.

This low-rider pup is Auggie. He's a 3 yr old Doxie mixed with Jack Russell. Both very active and smart dogs who need to be with active owners. He weighs about 22 lbs and a good sturdy sized dog.

Auggie is very playful, loves to run through water, playing fetch, going on hikes and runs. He will be a perfect dog for someone looking for a playful and active dog.

Auggie came from a non-loving home and was left outdoors alone and didn't learn how to socialize with other dogs, which sadly left him with no understanding of sharing his space, food or toys so he gets possessive over them and will react to any dog who may go after his stuff. That is why it is best to keep Auggie in a house with a yard and no other dogs.


Auggie is NOT meant to be an outside dog only, but he's good to hang out there as needed when weather is cool. He's crate trained so that would be a better choice when being away for more than 4 hrs.

We know that he will be a loyal dog to whomever adopts from.

Auggie is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
