My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Angel is a rescued girl. I found her on the highway a couple of years ago. I think she was a puppy mill escapee. She is smaller than a miniature, but not quite a toy. Legs shorter than most poodles. Thus, the ShihTzu possibility. She does have a "gimpy" rear leg.

Angel has no street sense, and will wander off without even noticing that she's left the yard. Therefore, a fenced yard is a requirement.

Angel has her own personality. She doesn't want to play with other dogs (she has 4 companions), and she isn't a lap-sitter. She'squiet -- unless there's a knock on the door --- and takes her time with everything. You can't hurry her! She'll give you a dirty look if you try to rush her. But she's loving and eager to see me when I come home. She bounces on her hind feet like a pogo stick! She really needs to be someone's only child!

Angel is in Florida, and available for local adoption to the JAX-St. Augustine-Gainesville area.
