Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Qualities: affectionate, sweet and loving, quiet, low energy, house trained, kennel trained, non-
destructive
Limitations: extremely shy and nervous with people, will require patience and training to build
confidence and win her heart and trust.
Sasha is a Staffey/Boxer mix and is a happy, energetic and very loving dog. Nestling close to you or in your arms is a Sasha trademark. Energetic Sasha loves to jump and she jumps as if there are springs in her feet. Agility work would suit her well. She walks well on a body harness and enjoys short walks but is nervous outside the home.
Sasha is becoming comfortable around strangers, and this is the reason why we are requesting an experienced, patient and dedicated adopter for this little girl. She cannot be cycled through temporary adoptions; so please only serious inquiries. Her adopter should be dedicated to investing the time needed to form a strong bond with her. Once that bond is made though, you will be rewarded with an amazing dog! We have marked her as not good with kids or cats because we feel her nervous nature might interfere with her socialization. She does love her crate and we would encourage crating her with company.
Sasha is raw fed and naturally reared, and has blossomed on this protocol. She loves treats like fruit, yogurt or peanut butter. Her coat is a beautiful, shiny auburn color and is so velvety soft. She has beautiful green eyes. A gorgeous little girl, Sasha has to be seen to be appreciated.
Please contact Kelly at nod2016dog@gmail.com for a meet and greet, or for more information on Sasha.

NOD is a seasonal weekend adoption event rescue. After meeting the dog, a completed adoption application is submitted to the rescue.
2.
Interview
As part of the application process, there is the phone contact with one personal reference and adopters veterinarian.
3.
Home Check
If application and references look good, then a home check is scheduled and any residual questions regarding the adoption are answered.
4.
Approve Application
The next step is a one to two week home trial to make sure the adoption is a good fit. We discuss openly the dogs traits - good and bad.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
The final step in our protocol is executing the adoption contract and payment of the adoption donation to the rescue.
Additional adoption info
I am not into rescue to have the largest turnaround of dogs. I am into rescue to take a battered and dejected dog off the streets. To get it healthy and confident in order to make a loving and permanent placement. A human-dog love connection!

More about this rescue
I am an animal lover but specifically a dog lover. I have picked up stray dogs for many years so forming a rescue was inevitable. No One's Dog Rescue is devoted to saving street dogs, one dog at a time. This includes good nutrition for vital health and training for an amendable dog. Part of my mission is to connect the right dog with the right person so there is much discussion with adopter on specific wants vs needs. I also advocate and support raw feeding and natural rearing protocols. As a nutritionist myself I know first hand the power of good food irregardless of species. I rescue because the need is so great and hope to set an example of compassion and responsibility by my actions.
