My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clyde is a 3-4 yr old Plott Hound. He is neutered, UTD, 4DX neg and chipped. He appears to be good with most other dogs and would do best with non-dominant playmates. A home with older children would be suitable since Clyde is a big boy, weighing nearly 60 lbs, and is still learning that he doesn't need to jump on people to get their affection.

Clyde's only experience with cats went well. They were caged, he was unsure but nice and did not reciprocate the unfriendly greeting he got from one of them.

He knows "sit", walks fairly well on leash, rides good crated, enjoys toys and will attempt to give kisses every chance he gets. Clyde enjoys being a lap puppy and a neck massage sends him almost instantly into Zen-mode. He wants to please and would be happy to curl up on the couch beside you after a good, long walk or romp in the yard. He is not noisy and will sometimes sing, like only a Plott can, for joy at meal times.
