My story

This beautiful boy is 9 years young. You would never guess that. He loves toys, loves to play, and when he is feeling feisty, loves to bark at cars. You wouldn’t believe he has a history of rejection and loss either: from Mississippi to Tennessee to Rocky Mount, VA. There He found himself in a shelter after his family learned he had diabetes. It wasn’t his fault. But this boy has lots of life and lots of love in him - he wants a chance - nothing more - to be your forever Charlie B.

Dogs will only be adopted to residents of the following: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and DC.

Adopters must agree to take the dog through obedience training within 3 months of adoption (unless the dog is over age 10).

Adopters must agree to keep the dog current on vaccinations and heart worm, flea, tick prevention on a year round basis.
