Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Taffy is a 3-4 year old, 85 lbs. female Chessie, who has been in foster care
for 3 months after rescue from the local shelter.
While in foster care, she has had a benign tumor removed and has fully
recovered from surgery. She is up to date on all shots and has filled out
nicely.
Taffy is super healthy, happy, and active. She has a strong retrieving
instinct and a good nose, showing promise as a hunting dog or family pet.
She loves toys and people, and is a quick learner. She does well with basic
obedience commands, including come, sit, stay, down, etc. and is eager to
please. She is also very affectionate and people focused - and likes
attention. Her favorite thing is belly rubs!
Taffy does have a strong resource guarding instinct around other dogs, and
anxiety around dogs in close quarters. Due to her reactivity, she would be
best for a single dog home, or with a submissive second dog under the right
circumstances.
