Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pippi is a 2 year old petite 42 pound red fox lab mix with the cutest personality. She had a rough start to her life when DLRR Rescued her from the pound. She had tick fever, mange, which left her almost completely bald, and a bad eye. After a lot of love and vet care she has blossomed into a gem. Pippi loves going for walks and because of her size is so easy to walk on a leash. She is crate trained while her foster mom goes to work. She is housebroken and trained with the doggie door so she lets herself out as she pleases. Pippi likes to nap and sleeps like a snug bug in a rug on a doggie bed by my bed. She enjoys playing with other dogs. No exposure to cats. She has shown no interest in getting in the pool, she would rather just watch from the sidelines or sunbathe. She looks forward to meal times and hops like a pogo stick. She isn’t very vocal but will chime in if the other dogs alert her to something. She enjoys human attention and affection. Pippi does have a few ongoing medical conditions we are working through. She is currently being treated for tick fever. She is asymptomatic at this point and just takes an antibiotic twice a day. Her mange has been treated and her hair is almost completely grown back in. She has been getting medicated baths a couple days a week. Pippi also has a damaged eye which has left her blind in that eye but that won’t stop her from getting where she needs to go. Her other eye is perfectly healthy. She has been an absolute joy to foster and will make someone a lovely companion. She steals hearts wherever she goes.
