(NOVEMBER IS ADOPT A SEINOR MONTH) Pretty little Sassy came to AFC with a senior dachshund that were both in horrible condition though the dachshund had tumors and she did not. Happily but sadly her older dachshund friend has long been adopted, while Sassy a Chihuahua mix remains with us. This is one Sassy but not Yappy little girl. She tries to get herself adopted by greeting most people that come in our Sanctuary. Sassy is a sweet heart, she loves to sit in your lap and take a nap, she also give kisses and smiles while she follows you around. She will play with the other dogs and likes to play with squeaky toys. Sassy is 7 years old, weigh 11 lbs. and has a heart murmur though she is otherwise healthy. She is spayed, current on vaccinations has been micro-chipped. Sassy adores going for walks and bounces up and down as soon as she sees the harness and leash she also rides well in the car. Sassy will wait at the door to go potty as soon as you arrive in the AM she will also use the doggie door to go out to potty, she is fully housetrained. We appreciate that you are interested in one or more of our dogs or cats for adoption. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner.
1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.
2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)
a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.
b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.
c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.
