Meet Bella, a truly beautiful 2+ yr old German Shepherd with a story of her own.
Bella is a very affectionate and attentive dog with people she is family with. At times challenging, she can be fearful of strangers and becomes defensive of her space. Once trust is established she is full of excitement and enthusiasm and is willing to please.
We are working hard at helping her with her trust issues. We would like to have Bella settled in her new home and are anxious to hear from experienced and suitable adoptive candidates. Bella would be best suited in a quiet adult environment as an only pet. Although she did live with another male dog and she shows a friendly interest in a young male currently at the sanctuary. Bella is easily distracted with squirrels and will give chase so a home with no small animals is a must. Bella walks well on leash and often looks up to her handler for direction. Bella needs a home with a fenced in yard where she can feel secure.
She loves her people and will make a great pet in the right home.

Bella is vaccinated and microchipped and is scheduled for her spay surgery.
