My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ella traveled all the way from Texas to Rochester, New York for a better chance at a loving forever home! She is a typical playful puppy who is currently living with multiple dogs in her forever home. She is a well behaved, low key girl. We have no idea what her actual breed is, but based on her size and appearance our best guess is lab/dane.

The Puppy Mill Rescue Team, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, rescues discarded dogs and puppies from puppy mills and place them with ethical rescues that will care for their veterinary needs, house them in volunteer foster homes, and eventually adopt them into loving families. The PMRT also works to educate the public about puppy mills and supports efforts to eradicate the existence of the inhumane mass dog breeding facilities commonly known as puppy mills. The PMRT promotes choosing pet adoption, over purchasing online or from a pet store, as the vast majority of those are sourced by puppy mills.
