Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jax, "The Talker" AKA Pringles, available for immediate adoption through Fur the Love of PAWS Rescue!
🤗 HERE'S THE SCOOP
Some of you may remember our boy Pringles here from the city shelter. He came in there as a stray and wasn't claimed.
This super high energy dog sat patiently in his kennel for over two weeks with no interest.
We even took him on the news for FUR Friday.
Normally this mix of breed will go kennel crazy pretty quick, but he didn't. He was so quiet in his kennel. The problem was - when you did let him out, that's when he went a little bonkers just from being in the kennel so long. This scared potential adopters away. For those of us who new him, we saw him calm down and saw his sweet loving personality!
We had an awesome foster family step up for him so we pulled him for rescue, got him vetted and he's just turned out to be the best dog!
The reason for the name change: shortly after pulling him we found out before shelter life, his name was Jax. He knows it and listens well to it so we dropped Pringles :)
🏡 FAMILY GOALS!
▪️Jax is super friendly to everyone he meets.
▪️He is super smart and at his age and the right home he could learn so much more!
▪️He knows sit, shake, and lay down. He loves toys.
▪️Very Housetrained. Fine to be left freeroam.
▪️Jax needs a SUPER active home! A tired Jax is a happy Jax! Running, hiking, he loves to play fetch! I bet he would love swimming also!
▪️Tall secure fenced yard required.
🐈 Cats are tricky. He may chase but doesn't hurt them. If you have a laid back cat that doesn't run he would be okay. I just don't want him coming back for a cat issue.
🐕 Good with dogs. His best friend in his foster home is a Husky and they play non stop. Jax needs a dog buddy in his new home to play with.
🏃🏼 Loves kids!
🐓 No Chickens.
