Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Not only has Dudley gotten a name change but also a new lease on life!
We’ve known many dogs like Dudley, shy but oh so loving. This comes from not having many experiences throughout their life, but that doesn’t mean he can’t start now! From his first day with us to now he has become a different dog and all we’ve had to do was give him time and a loving hand when he was ready. He learned quickly that he was safe and before we knew it, there was a little Dudley melted onto our laps. Patience and love are the keys to his heart, and once you’ve opened that door, there’s no going back- you have yourself the love and companionship of a friend for life.
Do you know what you get when you adopt a senior dog? You get a family member that knows the rules already and appreciates life and the love you give them. All they’re really looking for is a soft place to sleep and a gentle hand, their exercise needs are minimal but the love they still have left to give is at its maximum during senior years.
Dudley (the dog formerly known as Ducky)
Chihuahua/Corgi Mix, Neutered Male about 7 years young
Dudley would love a home with other small dogs but we think he would thrive being your one and only too. He does not mind living with cats.
Dudley will be available for adoption this weekend during Maddie's Adoption Days event! This means his adoption fee is waived, making things a little easier for you to welcome him into your family!
