Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fred is a 90 lb gentle and lovable goofball. One of the fosters' favorite things Fred does is his imitation of a tiny dog doing a "sit pretty". lol His beautiful blue eyes and super soft white fur will draw you into a desire to love on him and he'll be very happy with that. He cannot fit on laps, but he will get part way up with his chest and front legs and will steal a slightly sloppy kiss. Along with being a pet, though, Fred seems to have a strong sense of protection. He is very serious about walking the perimeter of the acre and a half property. And, if someone comes to the door or drives in the driveway, his bark is a definite deterrent to anyone there without permission. He's very good about standing down when told, though, so he can meet new people and he gets along good with other dogs that are part of "the pack". Fred is not real keen on car rides, but he does sit nicely when he has to go for a ride to the vet, for instance. He is fully house trained and crate trained. He actually likes to st in his open crate just to hang out, and he loves air conditioning. Fred would probably enjoy living on a small farm and could use an older sister, maybe, to show him the ropes. He does walk on lead nicely, sits on command, gives a paw and does that adorable "sit pretty". He will give a family great joy in the years ahead. He can is good with Kids, dogs, and cats. He is fully vetted, current shots, spayed and micro chipped. He is in south Eastern corner of Tennessee. Please send a request for an application to fill out.
