Oh what fun energy little Magnolia has! This girl comes out with the sunshine and literally lightens up a room when she walks into it! Mags has a pure zest for life that constantly radiates off of her.
Magnolia is an active 8 lb chi! If you're thinking you'll have to shorten your hike or summer walk to accommodate her, think again! She is all go-go-go when it comes to out door activity and has no fear exploring new places. I took her for a walk into the horse barn the other day for the first time.. usually dogs are a bit apprehensive with all the horses, noises and smells.. not Mags! Her head and tail were held high as she trotted through the unknown territory. Smelling anything and everything.. even walking into the dark and wet wash stall to explore some more!
Magnolia gets along wonderfully with other dogs.. she's made good friends with Huxley, Jack and Finney so far!
In true chihuahua fashion, Mags likes certain things on her own terms and she is very clear about that! When she first got off the van, she was confident as ever taking in the new surroundings but was a bit hesitant to allow us to handle her. Maybe she has been mishandled in the past? We assume so as many people do with the smaller dogs. Either way, after a short week of showing Magnolia she has nothing to fear from us handling her, she has begun to allow us to do more and more like putting on and taking her harness off. She was even an absolute ANGEL getting her exam and blood taken from our vet! Good girl, Mags!
Magnolia's personality is still coming out as she settles in to Love Dogs but no doubt she will bring her sun shining, summery energy everywhere she goes.. and human smiles along with it! Come on out to meet Mags, you'll be delighted that you did!!
