Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Kendra is 6-1/2 years old and weighs a healthy 9 lbs. She is being fostered in Palm Coast, Fl.
UPDATED BIO 07/01/2019: Sweet little Kendra is patiently waiting for her perfect forever parents to find her. She has been through a lot for such a young little girl, but is learning just how wonderful it is to get lots of love.
Kendra rides well in the car and loves to go on outings. She has mastered the doggie steps to the couch and loves to sit with Foster Mom to relax and watch TV. But by far, Kendra’s most favorite activity is to go out in the fenced-in yard and soak up the sun. A home with a fenced-in yard would be a BONUS for sure.
Kendra’s Foster Mom feels that she would do best in a home with at least one other dog close to her size and age to hang out with since she is learning how much fun it can be to have a playmate. Kendra is still a little bit on the shy side, but with patience and love, she will surely become your little Princess in no time.
UPDATED BIO 06/16/2019: Hi all - Kendra here with a little update on how I’m doing. I’m now being fostered in Palm Coast, Florida. Foster Mom says I am progressing so fast it's time to let you all know what’s going on with me. Well, I think I may be just 8.6 pounds now ‘cause of this new diet I’m on, but Foster Mom says I'm perfect in every way.
I just love Foster Mom and Dad and especially love sitting on their laps to watch TV. I am just amazed at all the wonderful people and doggies I have gotten to meet already, and I haven't met one that I didn't like, so this is a good thing, right? I've been coming out of my shell and now just love being part of an active family – and I still enjoy a little nap time thrown in lol! When Foster Mom says it's time to eat or go potty, I'm right there with the rest of the resident doggie gang. I'm still working on the potty outside and think I’ve almost got it, but if I have an accident it's really no big deal and it only happens once in a while.
I am also learning to use the doggie steps to come up with Foster Mom and my doggie siblings, but need to master how to come down. Oh well, that will only take a few more days ‘cause I'm not only adorable, but a very smart little girl. I love playing with the other doggies here so another small dog for me would be wonderful, and I really would like to have a fenced-in yard to keep me safe.
If you like what you've read about me so far, just fill out an adoption application and put my name KENDRA on there. Until then, I'll be livin’ large and hangin’ out in Palm Coast, Florida.
