Charlie is about 3 years old, neutered, apparently a purebred Newfoundland (no back leg dew claws), 100 pounds plus, healthy and up-to-date on his vaccines. He had been at the Valley River Humane Society Shelter and was taken into Lost Dogs Run to socialize him with other dogs and house-train him.
Charlie is a great dog, big and fluffy and friendly, fully house trained, neutered, and up-to-date on his vaccines. He lives in a pack of 12 dogs and is non-aggressive. He loves to swim and retrieve balls and goes on walks without being on a leash. He has good return when called off leash. Charlie loves people and can't get enough attention. He will make a great family pet. Just give him a lot of love. Contact Ron Stoessell at ronstoessell@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting him. LDR does not want adopt him out in a hot climate (because of his long fur). He needs a home to sleep in, a fenced yard to keep him safe, and a place to swim and an area around his home to occasionally roam in - so not an urban environment but a semi-rural to rural environment.
Charlie was adopted on 2/7/15 to Athalea and Brad Bradley at 3243 Wiltshire Drive, Avondale Estates GA 30002 (804)-980-5290, athaleabradley@gmail.com.
