Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thor is in a boarding facility in Houston, Texas. I live in Redmond and a rescue friend has asked me to help Thor find a good home. He's lived his entire life on the end of a chain. He's now about 5 years old and deserves to have a great life with someone who loves him and includes him in their life.
Thor's rescuer drove by Thor's home everyday to and from work. He lived on a property with a mobile home. They had 4 trees and a dog was tied to each tree. She would stop and feed and water him and the other dogs daily. She bought him a dog house and would replenish it with hay during the winter. Somehow Thor got off the end of the chain while his owners were out of town so she picked him up. She had him vaccinated and heartworm tested. Unfortunately he tested positive for heartworm. She had him treated and placed in a boarding facility in December. He has now tested negative for heartworm. There is no lasting effects to the heartworm and he is healthy and ready to start his new life.
His rescuer says, "Thor is right at 5 years old and has never gotten much human attention as he's spent his entire life on the end of a chain. I always tossed him toys which he would fetch and sometimes bring back to me. He was pretty good at catching them, too. he likes to try to catch water from the end of a hose. he loves squeaky toys. I made sure he always had one to entertain him. He would toss them around, playing with himself. Thor is so sweet."
His adoption fee is $400 and covers his air transport, neuter, vaccinations and microchip.
