Bodie-Finn and Brennan, a bonded pair of Teddy Bear-Faced Yorkies’
“Bodie and Brennan are an adorable male and female bonded pair of little ones. Bodie is 2½ and weighs 4.6 lbs. Brennan just turned 2 in April and weighs 6.7 lbs. While in Foster care they have been spayed and neutered and have had they're Well Check Vet appointment, including blood work showing them both to be in the best of health. As a pup Bodie-Finn developed an ulcer on his left eye and is blind in that eye. Although Bodie is blind in one eye it is not noticeable, nor does it interfere with daily life with the exception of long staircases, he does adjust quickly to short steps.
These little pups are crate trained, leash trained and ride well in the car in a puppy car seat together. Both have gotten along well with their housemates and love to run around and discover in the back yard. Bodie likes to play with toys and will run around the house with one in his mouth. Brennan not a big fan of toys but loves to rough house with her buddy Bodie. This little pair show one another their allegiance to one another in every action they make. They adore one another and eat, sleep and relax with one another. If one is in a dog bed the other will join him or her and they will greet each other with a kiss. It is so sweet to see the love they have for one another. As much as this pair adore one another they also adore their human, they like to keep their human within eyesight and will never allow you to be alone. As the twosome vies for your attention between the two, it would be better for them to be the only pets in the home.
Both have adjusted to using a doggy door to go in and out to potty or play. As they are so tiny, they should never be outdoors without a human to watch for wildlife. As they do go outdoors to potty, they have had the occasional accident in the home. Patience and further training will help them be their very best. The twosome would flourish with a stay-at-home or a work from home parent, and a fenced yard for exercise and fun. If you feel this pair would be a wonderful addition to your family and you can fill their requirements, (1) a stay at home parent ( 2) have a fenced yard. ( 3) and children over 12, and (4) the only pets in the home, please complete an Adoption Application on our website www.rmyr.org .”
