My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Suzie Q but most people just call me Suzie!  I’m an 8 yr old ( born Aug 9, 2011) Chihuahua -  without an attitude!  And I’m not a barker!  I’m good natured and happy and easy to hang out with.  Even if I say so myself, I am a pretty perfect Chi!I’ve had a  great home until my mom passed away and then my dad , who can’t move much, had to go away to a place that won’t take dogs.  That is ridiculous because I don’t cause any trouble at all!  But it’s the rule and there is nothing we can do about it.  I’ve been staying with a really nice lady for a while but she can’t keep me forever because she has 2 other dogs and she is moving too!  So, now I am wondering if there is someone out there who would like to share their life with me.  I am a really good companion who likes to go for walks, watch a little TV with my people and relax with a few snacks!  Some people might say I’ve enjoyed a few too many snacks lately, but I’m not worried about it!  All I need is some more exercise (not in the rain!) and ok, maybe not so many snacks and I’ll be back to my former slender self!  And some trips to the dog park or living with another dog would help too.  I like playing with them and that might burn off a pound or two!   I can stay alone for a while and I am crate trained.  I go in sometimes just to relax, but I am safe to leave in the house too.  I am housetrained, but I’ll need a few reminders to let my new people know when I want to go outside.  My dad wasn’t able to move very easily so he couldn’t let me out as often as I wanted!  What I need is a routine!I’m spayed and I’ll have a vet check up soon.  All my vaccinations will be up to date too.  I am ready and eager to find my new home!  I love being part of a family so please think about adding me to yours.
