Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marty was found abandoned along with his 4 siblings... a litter of scared and hungry little pups. We were notified when they were taken to a local kill shelter and placed on the danger list. Of course we took them all and they are now safe and sound under the care of Save a Dog a Day rescue.
Marty is 15 -18 weeks old and the big boy of the litter. He looks like a boxer mix but as with most rescue pups we can't be certain as neither of his parents are known.
Marty is a lovable and playful puppy who greets EACH AND EVERY time with a full body wag. He is housetrained and sleeps through the night without incident. He is very content to lounge in the yard under the sun. No digging or yapping. Loves the water and will make fun playtime out of any water he can find.
Marty was one of the nervous pups of the litter. And now he is without his siblings. It takes him a bit of time to warm up to new people. He is then a total love. Our wish for Marty is a home that will be understanding of his insecurities and that will patiently guide him to be the dog he was meant to be.
Marty is vetted, up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchippped. He is ready for his new life!!!
Marty will be in west Sayville / Holbrook through this weekend. He will then be heading out to the east end to a temporary foster home. To meet him is to love him!!!
As a foster you simply get to love Marty until he 'finds his family'.
I hope you can help.
Application and home visit are required for placement of any of our pets. Marty's adoption fee is $400.
