Pippie is a 9 year old Chihuahua mix who was relinquished when she was diagnosed with diabetes and her owners originally elected for euthanasia. She's very sweet and loving and has a lot of pep! She LOVES people and wants to be your snuggle buddy! Even though she's older she has very little problems getting around. She can do stairs easily and likes walks and running around the yard. She even likes the dog park!
She does well with other dogs and cats after some time to adjust. She's older, so she isn't a fan of playing, and will do best with older animals.
Because of her age and her love of being a lap-dog, she may not be the best fit for a household with kids. Her perfect home will be one where her new owners have time to care for her medical needs (she requires insulin twice per day), and who are able to spend an adequate amount of time with her (as mentioned earlier, she REALLY loves people!).
