My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

8 year old Misty and 4 year old Maverick are ready to find their forever home. This friendly pair has overcome insecurities acquired from their past and have become so popular at our public events. They soak up the attention and are quickly learning that life surrounded by people that respect them is a great thing. Kind words and consistency are what has allowed them to thrive in their foster home. This mother and son pair are bonded and will be placed together in a home with no other dogs. They are skilled escape artists and will require a secure fence and older children who can understand how important closed doors are. They are available for one adoption fee ($240) to the right adopter that will be committed to providing the loving home they deserve.

We provide adoption services to those within a 100 mile radius of our suburban Philadelphia, PA office. If you are outside of that area please contact a shelter or rescue group closer to your home. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, microchipped, vaccinated, and evaluated in a private home. You will find details regarding our adoption policy and process on our website (www.arcticspiritrescue.org). Please be sure you meet the qualifications we have listed for the dog you would like to adopt. Our application can be found on our website as well. No dogs are shown without an approved application. We do not have a kennel facility. All of our dogs are fostered and evaluated in experienced private homes.
