Adoption fee on this dog is $300.
Wrangler is a long legged 12-18 month old bi-colored boy pulled from a local shelter. He was picked up as a stray, so nothing is known of his background. He currently weighs 85 pounds and should fill out to be a nice 90 plus pound dog.
Wrangler is currently in a country setting foster home with several other dogs his size. He eager to play a game of chase or tug with the other playful dogs. His is quick to jump in the pond for a swim, and follow his foster around the property doing various chores.
This boy would do best in a home with another settled mentor dog to model his behavior. He is easy to correct, and will pancake on the ground if overwhelmed or unsure of things. He is also quick to give and accept affection, rolling over to get a belly rub. Wrangler appears to be housebroken, and sleeps all night in a crate in his foster's bedroom. He easily loads in a car to go for a ride, and rides quietly taking in the scenery. He know some basic commands, and walks fairly well on a leash. When excited, he can jump up on you and be slightly mouthy, so a home with small children, or occupants who are not steady on their feet, would not be a good fit for him. It is unknown at this time if he could live in a home with a cat or other small critters.
Wrangler is looking for a home that is committed to continuing his obedience training and socialization and including him in family activities and outings.
