Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Quenna and her sister, Rainna, are beautiful, nay, gorgeous girls. Only about three months old at the time of this posting, they are like clay, ready to be molded into the great dogs and family partners they want to be. They already follow their humans usually at a heel, and without being told. Of course, being pups, they are occasionally distracted and get carried away - squirrel!
At their young age they think every living thing is another dog that wants to play with them and they mean no harm to any of them. They do have needle-point teeth and are still a mit mouthy but are learning that's not okay. Being smart dogs, they are also a touch on the cautious side when they meet new humans but that lasts for a matter of about a minute at most.
If you have been looking for a puppy that will be a great, large dog, then you really should consider one of these girls. Please read on or go directly to the Adoption Process page of our website, throwmeabonedogrescue.org, to find out what to do to meet them.
All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
