Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Age: 3
Breed: Husky X
Is your dog good with other dogs: He is selective with the dogs that he likes. He doesn’t like high
energy dogs and will give a warning to them. He is good with dogs that know boundaries and that have
a calm temperament.
Is your dog good with cats: He is tolerant of them but highly recommended a house without cats.
Is your dog good with kids: He is very good with children.
Is your dog house trained: Yes
Is your dog crate trained: No, and he should never be crated because he will seriously hurt himself
trying to get out.
Does your dog have any special needs: No
Does your dog have any or display any aggression (toys, food, people): He does resource guard
with items of high priority (ie., chicken, kongs with food etc). He will also show some very minor signs
(hackles raised and low growl) to certain dogs.
Is your dog playful: Most definitely!
Does your dog like to snuggle: Yes! Yes! Yes!
Does your dog know basic commands: Yes, only sit and down. Still needs work on staying sitting and
laying down.
Does your dog know any special tricks: No
Does your dog like to go on walks: Loves it! If he could, he’d walk for miles and miles.
Does your dog have any fears: No external fears, but he does have separation anxiety that needs to be
worked on.
Does your dog have any unique traits you have noticed whether in personality or physically: He
will be your shadow 24/7 if he had to chance to do so! He absolutely loves staying by your side all day,
no matter what you are doing.
What are the 3 first words that come to mind when you think of your dog: Cuddly, Loving,
Adventurer
In a short paragraph Please provide any other details or a brief overview of your foster dog:
Jack does have separation anxiety, especially with the person he has bonded to. He needs an
experienced dog owner that has the patience to work on him overcoming his anxiety. Furthermore, he
cannot be left alone for long periods of time and preferably needs a home with someone there almost
all the time. However, he can be left with a well-trained dog that has a calm temperament and knows
boundaries.
