Meet Nelo! He’s a 3 year old beautiful American Bulldog.Nelo has had a rough start, poor boy sat at animal control for 9 months, through no fault of his own. He was an absolute favorite of all the volunteers! Nelo is now doing great in a foster home and getting used to life in a house again. He’s been going potty outside (no accidents) and he’s done great with the kids, ages 4-11 and adults. He’s so happy to lay on the floor and chew a toy or just climb on the couch and cuddle with you. Overall, he’s super chill! He’s done well with other dogs, slow intros are best though. He’s not living with cats currently but we understand he does not like cats or very small animals. He’s living with a French Bulldog currently and he’s been great. He does well in his crate, he may bark for a few minutes before settling in but that mostly seems from realizing he’s in a house and things are fun outside the crate. He’s a champion napper and would love nothing more than to curl up in bed for naps or bedtime. Nelo seems to have a particular love for the ladies, his favorite people in the house are the girls but he still loves the boys too. He’d be a great addition to almost any family. Let’s give Nelo the home he deserves.
