Unique and spectacular are only two words to describe how wonderful Freddie is. Freddie is a Catahoula Leopard mix with one blue eye and one brown eye. Despite being surrendered to a shelter, he absolutely loves human attention. In fact, he spent some time on a college campus to help students “destress” before final exams. Not only did he love this experience, but captured the hearts of so many students.
This special boy is 4 1/2 months old and weighs 18 pounds. He is expected to be a medium sized dog when he is fully grown. As with many young pups, he has a high energy level, thus requiring a family that will be able to spend time tiring him out. Freddie plays very well with other dogs, however, he has not been introduced to cats or children yet. Freddie can’t wait to be running around a yard, playing fetch. He is also excited to curl up next to his family after a long day of playing.
Although he is young, Freddie is already working towards being a fully trained pup. He is doing well with house training. He is in the process of being crate and leash-trained. With patience and time, he will be completely trained.
As with all puppies, Freddie is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. He will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so that he can become the perfect lifelong companion.
Freddie is patiently waiting to meet his forever family!
