My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookie is a 10 year old Long hair Dachshund that was surrendered by her owner. She has been spayed and is up to date on all of her vaccines/heartworm and stool tests. She has also had a complete blood work up done and had her teeth cleaned. Because she came to us badly matted we had to shave her down.

Cookie is very sweet and affectionate. She loves to play with toys and go for walks. She is a bigger dachshund and weighs a chubby 22 pounds.
We do have her on a low calorie diet and she is eating well.

She is housebroken but may have to be crated when adopter leaves the house as she is a bit mischievous and may get into things.

We are looking for a family or individual with older gentle children that will give Cookie a loving, secure and forever home and will keep her groomed.
Her adoption fee is $175.
A veterinary reference is an absolute must to adopt Cookie and we prefer a secure fenced yard. Absolutely NO invisible fences.
