My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION PENDING Spanky, Corgi mix, 2 1/2 yrs., 26 lbs. Update: Since we have had Spanky and Darla they have become attached to each other, so we hope to adopt them together but if separate homes with playful companions would present themselves then they would be considered. Spanky, he is starting to come out of his shell and starting to enjoy attention and being petted. Spanky is a shy little guy and hasn’t had a lot of life experiences. He grew up with his brothers and sister living outside in terrible conditions and they were probably never taken outside of the pen they were in until they were surrendered to Homeward Bound Rescue. He will need love, patience and work to help him see how wonderful life can be. Spanky will probably be good with female dogs and needs a home with a well-adjusted female dog to learn from and someone home most of the time to work with him and give him all the love he has never had. He needs a fenced yard, no apartments, townhomes, or condos will work. No cats. Call Cindy 970-353-1385
