My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nessa is an approximated 4yr old TWH. She was rescued from a local man who “collected” Tennessee walkers from across the US. 28 were seized from him in April 2017. At the time, Nessa was estimated at 2yrs old and went into a long term foster home. She had a foal in Jan 2018. Fast-forward to early 2019 and we took both Nessa and her foal Brees back in to rescue from the long term foster so that we could find their furever homes. Both are currently available for adoption. Nessa is halter broke but we’re unsure of any other handling she’s had as a filly prior to the seizure. She’s approachable and will stand to be brushed. She’d do best in a home who will get her the training she needs or an experienced adopter.
