Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet little terrier mix is approx 6 years and 13 lbs. He is a loving little boy and loves to get lots of attention, walks well on a leash and seems to be pretty well house trained. He loves people and sleeping on the couch.
When we rescued him he was heart worm positive and was treated with the required number of shots and is now heart worm negative. He is on a monthly heart worm preventative. His tailed was injured when he was found and we think he may have got caught in a fence and ripped the end off. It has healed but the very tip has very little hair. Not very often, but occasionally he will chase his tail around in a circle trying to bite at the end - not sure why.
It is our rescue policy that we require a home with children over 10 years old.
The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in TX in foster care. Our adoption application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/
