My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmie is an older Yorkie coming in around 8 or 10 years old. She is very small at 7 pounds (feels lighter in your arms!) and is a purebred dog.

Emmie was sold in a Facebook group and the woman who got her was unaware of her age, so she then turned around and gave her up to rescue. She has very few teeth left and those left aren't the prettiest! Due to her teeth issue, her tongue does hang out most all of the time. She eats fine as long as you just put some warm water in her kibble to let it soak a bit and soften up.

She is in need of a good grooming which we here at K9 Kindness will take care of before adoption. She needs to be seen at our vet for an overall health visit. She does have some cataracts but seems to see fine and know where she is going!

Emmie is a blast to have around, loves snuggles and loves being held! She does alert you when someone is at the door, or when she sees you have food and she wants some. Currently lives with a toddler, other dogs, and cats and doesn't seem to care at all. Mainly house trained but has had some accidents, though most likely my fault(her foster) as I'm not used to such little bladders around.

Emmie's adoption fee is $125 and adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad City Area.
