Meet Wednesday!

FHDR rescued Wednesday and her siblings from a high kills shelter in NC and they are now living in foster homes in NJ. The puppies are about 12-14 weeks old and they were owner surrendered because of the owner’s poor health. The owner told the shelter their mom is AKC Belgain Malinois and the guess is their dad is some type of a mix, maybe lab mix. Wednesday has a beautiful shinny black coat with white under her chin, paws and chest and she currently weighs 16-17 pounds.

Wednesday’s foster family says……"Wednesday is a sweet, playful puppy! She is great with other dogs...always wants to play but knows when to stop if they don’t want to play. She is good with my older dog too... she doesn’t bother her, but loves to lay with her on her bed. Wednesday likes rolling in the grass and playing with toys (especially squeaky toys). She is an affectionate puppy and she likes to cuddle. If you sit down with her, she won’t sit anywhere but right next to you. When she cuddles, she will put her head on your arm and look up at you to rub her and she will also put her head under your arm sometimes to sleep. Wednesday sometimes gives kisses and she loves belly rubs at any time. She sleeps through the night without having accidents and she knows how to ask to go out, she is 90% house trained. Wednesday loves attention from people and is very loving, she is definitely a great dog for a family!"
