To start our adoption process, please fill out our form on our website at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our web site and personality details below about each dog BELOW so please READ BEFORE getting in touch. We already answer 500+ emails a day. We do answer questions on dogs once our adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match to the right homes.
Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our adoption form. If their name says "pending home" then they are not available and are on a test drive with a new family. We do remove our dogs when our adoptions are final so please do not ask us if dogs are available if you see their ads.
There is an adoption fee of $250 for this dog.
Izzy is a dachshund and staffordshire bull terrier mix. She is as sweet and darling as they come. Her people were moving from an apartment and could not take her so some kind souls grabbed her and got her to us.
Izzy licks babies, very housebroke, loves cats and every dog and person she meets. This is a nice girl so no reason to be here at the rescue. Izzy mostly prefers women but she is warming up nicely with guys once they greet her and fork over some bribes of course.
Besides being cute this girl is very snuggly and loves laps too. So come and get this very nice girl when she needs a great home. I am looking for a fenced yard to zoom in and a dog friend for her please with kids age 8 and up. I had some kind visitors who allowed me to take photos with their toddlers yesterday and Izzy did great but at this rescue we do place then with kids age 8 and up to be safe. Most dachshunds do not babysit younger kids well or the number one reason why we rescue them here.
