My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophia was found in a very busy parking garage in Houston. She was very matted and covered in fleas. Luckily the good Samaritan contacted us and we had an open foster. Sophia is like a little teddy bear; so loving and affectionate. She is thought to be between 6-8 yrs old, she gets along with everyone and wants your attention. She is very well behaved. Little fluffy lap dog! She lets us groom her no problem but has been a little sensitive near her eyes (likely from her double cherry eye prior to surgery). She will go in her walk in kennel with her “roommate” when asked. Then come outside and potty right away when we open it. She is potty trained but will have accidents if left too long; she will use a potty pad though. Sophia’s ideal home would be someone that will be with her the majority of the day and wants a loving lap dog to snuggle with! Would love to stay in touch with the adopter if they have time – we have had her over 4 months and are very attached but know a perfect family is waiting and that will then open another foster spot – just like we were able to give to her! Thank you!
