Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harper Hugs! She is a 14-lb apricot terrier, and a very affectionate little girl. This dog is so sweet, the look in her eyes says it all -- please love me, hug me, etc. She came into rescue because she was stray and got hit by a car and suffered a broken pelvis. Poor baby! But she is about 99% healed now, and walks and runs normally.
Harper is a healthy 1-1/2 year old pup who is inquisitive, observant, very affectionate and calm but sometimes playful. Another great thing about Harper is that she is kind of a wash-and-wear girl. She may need a haircut occasionally, but not often. Her hair is so soft just after her bath and for about a week or two later. She has not affected her foster mom's allergies, which is a surprise.
Harper would do well with another dog to play with, but maybe not cats. She doesn't hurt them, but she is very curious and tends to put her face right in their face, and most cats don't like that. Children are not recommended because her hip area may still be weak from her injuries and young children could accidentally hurt her if they get too playful or set her down wrong.
This dog is so calm and so sweet and so happy to be in your lap. And she rarely barks. Harper is waiting for her forever home and anxious to make her forever human feel really happy and loved. She gives generous kisses.
