My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shelia is an adorable 2 year old 35lb Border Collie mix. She is spayed, vaccinated, hw negative and will be microchipped before going to her new home.

Shelia lived with a female heeler in her previous home who would violently attack her. Shelia lived in constant fear that she was going to be attacked and possibly injured. When she came to us she was very fearful of other dogs and would bark at them if they got too close to her. However after being in a foster home for several weeks she has really blossomed as she learned not all dogs are mean. She has finally started playing with the other dogs in the home and we feel she would do fine with other dogs that are gentle and nonaggressive as we never want her to be fearful again. Sheila may need just a little bit to adjust to a new dog. She lived in her previous home with child and doesn’t seem to mind cats.

Shelia is crate trained and does well with using a doggy door. Shelia is an energetic breed of dog who would enjoy a home that is also active. She must have a fenced yard to keep her safe. Shelia’s adoption fee $95.00
